Events – UITIC: A high turnout expected for the 18th International Footwear Congress
FNA | 01 November 2013

The International Union of Shoe Industry Technicians (UITIC) is pleased to announce a high turnout for its 18th international technical footwear congress with over 300 participants registered to attend the event from 13th to 16th November 2013 in Guangzhou, China. Exceptionally, almost a third of the participants are professionals and international experts!

The congress is therefore already a success for the UITIC and the CLIA, the China Leather Industry Association responsible for organising the event.
The central theme of the 18th congress will be “Corporate Social Responsibility, a challenge for the footwear industry”. Around thirty international footwear and CSR experts will present the latest innovations and progress in this field during 5 sessions: product innovation, innovation processes, working conditions and human resources, consumers and clients, and setting up social responsibility measures.
