Events: Prime Source Forum – China is the opportunity

The Organizers of the Prime Source Forum believe that the crisis in Europe represents a fresh opportunity in China where many western fashion brands have investments.

With Europe going through a period of insecurity and China suffering inflation and numerous distortions in its economy, all the same many western fashion brands are planning their commercial expansion in China. All these topics will be debated at the seventh edition of the Prime Source Forum which will take place in Hong Kong from March 28th – 30th and which this year will include the footwear sector for the first time.

The Prime Source Forum program is as follows:

March 28th: Debate on corporate development to manage the supply chain, the international financial crisis and the Chinese retail market.

March 29th: Four sessions on the fashion industry in terms of the global fiancial crisis; economic growth in China; weakness of Chinese exports; sustainability in textiles.

March 30th: Three sessions covering the power of the internet and social networks; the fluctuation of raw material prices; the struggle against the lack of talent.
